Why Pilates?

Developed by Joseph Pilates, the Pilates method enhances quality of life, focuses on the mind-body connection, and improves performance in sports such as running, tennis, and golf.

Pilates can:

  • Strengthen deep core muscles which improve posture and balance
  • Increases flexibility and mobility which reduces the risk of injury
  • Improves spinal alignment and reduction in back and neck pain

Pilates is gentle on joints, making it accessible for people of all fitness levels, including those with injuries or chronic conditions.

Many athletes use Pilates to improve efficiency of movement and reduce injury risk.
